The Situation

Mental health challenges, mental illness, and suicide are serious public health problems. Problems that were compounded all the more with the COVID-19 pandemic.

In order to successfully address these public health issues, communities must consider the contributing factors (including economic and environmental stressors) that impact mental and emotional well-being and use preventative strategies to promote mental health, address health disparities, and build resilient communities.

Art Works™  harnesses creativity to build connection—
breaking the stigma around mental health
by helping communities understand and support each other better.

Three Ways to Bring Art Works to Your Community

Art Works™ is a fully customizable and scalable way to support community well-being.
Our three iterations offer a structured, creativity-based approach that helps people express what they are carrying while building connection.

Art Works™ can meet organizations at different levels of capacity, budget, and scale.

A Summit.

A full or half-day, high energy, fully coordinated event where K - 12 students and families rotate through interactive stations to explore emotions and mental well-being. Through engaging, hands-on breakout sessions and honest, meaningful dialogue—in partnership with licensed professionals from the community—Art Works™ creates a space where understanding and acceptance of mental well-being can flourish, particularly in traditionally underserved communities.

Participants leave the summit not just inspired, but equipped with the tools and insights to design and seek out their own mental health solutions.

Workshops.

Facilitated, hands-on sessions led by a Findlay House Global facilitator. Sessions are tailored for grades K - 12, and each student receives an Art Works Master Mind™ pack.

Introducing...the NEW box.

Simple creativity experiences educators and caregivers can facilitate anytime. Each box includes ready-to-use facilitation scripts, activity cards, parent information, and art materials for one student.
